What state won the race among Carter-Mondale Connection readers for the biggest win after the 1976 Iowa-New Hampshire-Florida trifecta?
It was a bit of a split decision. In terms of first place votes, Wisconsin landed in the top spot with 50 percent of the votes cast, followed by Pennsylvania and Ohio, each with 25 percent of the vote. But when the ranked-choice, first-second-third place votes are tallied, Pennsylvania edged out Wisconsin and Ohio.
